I had such a lovely lunch here. The service was really above and beyond- the antipasti dish I had wanted wasn’t available that day, so they were able to make the anchovy portion of an antipasti trio into a solo dish for me, which was so appreciated! The gnocchi was heavenly as well. Just really kind people serving really beautiful food.
Amazing experience: very fine food and excellent service! If you're looking for a great and relaxing dinner, this is the place to go. The food was above expectations and the waiting personnel extremely welcoming and attentive in a natural and effortless way, which made everything feel very pleasant and smooth. We really enjoyed our dinner here and will definitely return when we're in the area again.
We took a trip out to a winery in Verduno (Beautiful), and then stopped at this Cantina for lunch. The owner is soo welcoming and inviting, and the location is superb, in the junction of all three towns. The appetizers and pasta were delicious, best pasta I have had in Italy so far. The owner took his time to explain how they source their flour for their homemade pasta using only stone ground mills. Their desserts were fantastic too, the tiramisu was delicious and so was the chocolate gelato. Worth the trip out there from turin, especially if you are touring wineries or visiting the charming city of La Morra.
This place was a real shock with a large amount of respect for the traditional dishes of Piedmont but a huge amount of innovative cooking woven into the menu. It's also a place where you can eat vegetables, a very welcome thing if you're on a wine trip and trying to eat a bit healthily! It's an anglo-italian family with an English chef so very friendly if your Italian isn't up to much. But go for the food and friendly service.
Father and son owned. Definitely the best out of the restaurants we have tried in the region. Beautiful plating and presentation. Ingredients and preparation were superb. Wine was wow…incredible.. great expressions of the region The son is there checking in and they have a wait staff and support team providing full service. Really good espresso and amaro-even compared to others.
What a great place to eat! This family run restaurant offers fantastic regional dishes and excellent wines. The hospitality of the owners and staff is wonderful. Highly recommended to visit for lunch or dinner.
Incredible food, both traditional and innovative, every dish my family ordered was tasty. I especially recommend the „Porcino“, a truly intricate and delicious mushroom dish. Staff was very nice, calm and homely atmosphere.
We ended our summer holiday in July by re-visiting this lovely restaurant, and yes, we returned after being here before. Owner is still fantastic and provides friendly and warm hospitality during our stay. Food is fantastic. I got Fassona Piemontese, which was a fantastic beef tartare, and then followed by their Tarajin with the best meat sauce during our stay in Italy this year. We will return next year - for sure.
